Trust God

It is important in our Christian walk to trust God in all things. We are not to lean unto our own understanding but to lean upon the Lord who is able to take care of any situation.

2 Samuel 22:31 "As for God, his ways are perfect; the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him." God is able to give us strength in time of need. He performs in us great works that our enemies are turned back. Those that have failed in trusting the word of the Lord are not receiving the promises from the Holy Scriptures. We as believers must see God's word as flawless and live by it every day.

People today are preaching many different messages, "drugs are bad," "drinking and driving don't mix," "abortion is murder," "pornography leads to sexual crimes," etc. I do agree with these moral statements concerning the society, which we live. However, these are merely observations and not solutions. The cure comes from redemption, and redemption only comes from God. Psalm 12:6 "The words of the Lord are pure words." God's word is like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times. His word alone is flawless and able to save and heal those who are sick.

There are some that would say that the bible is somewhat correct but not every word is dependable. Proverbs 30:5 "Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him." God's word is flawless!

When searching for answers to the miseries of this world, look to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ and not to the wisdom of this world. The cure for sin is love and there is only one God who loved us so much that he sent his only begotten Son into this world that we would not perish but have life everlasting.

But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
