Jesus Is Our Everything

Jesus is your everything. When we are confronted with the ugliness of the world you can say as a born again Christian; "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." (Philippians 4:13). When you feel like you are loosing the battle you can confess; "In all things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us." (Romans 8:37). When we feel we have done something so terribly wrong that there is no forgiveness we can proclaim; "For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him." When the devil tries to bring up the dirt from the past you can declare; "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold all things are become new." When you come to a place where spiritually you are hungry and thirsty the bible gives us a promise. "Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." We have the promise from Jesus himself, "I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst (John 6:35). If you worry or doubt that Jesus is there for you, he has promised us his divine security. "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father which gave them to me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them from my Father’s hand (John 10:27-20). If you are to trust the police to keep your neighborhood safe then it would be foolish to not trust in Jesus, the creator of all things, to keep his children protected. Jesus does manifest himself to his children (John 14:21), he freely forgives us of our mistakes and sins (1 John 1:9). Jesus left with us his peace, which passes all understanding (john 14:27). Jesus shows his love to us daily while we were yet sinners Christ died and rose from the dead for our sakes (Romans 5:8)

It takes effort on our part as believers to abide in God and allow his words to abide in us in order for God to perform miraculous works in our lives (John 15:7). If we will believe and trust in God we will be blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).

It is time for all believers who follow Christ and look to him as our example, to make Jesus Christ the Lord of their life. "For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s (Romans 14:8).

Romans 12:1-2 "I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of god, that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

This message is for you, the believer to draw closer to God and abandon yourself, in order that God can have free reign in your life, to perform his work through you.

In Christ Jesus,
