Making Skin For Skin
This DVD contains live footage from Bride's
2005 Brazilian tour, where Alex Thompson, Dale's son, played drums. It also
contains footage of Bride in the studio actually recording Skin For Skin.
The latter studio footage will interest musicians and those with a curiosity of
what goes into making a recording. When Bride goes into the studio, the
entire band plays through the song to get basic and scratch tracks. After
that, the permanent vocals are recorded, mistakes are fixed, and additional
guitars, percussion, and background vocals are added. This DVD captures
the skill, humor and frustration that went into making Skin For Skin.
